For instance, I had told Lucy early in the process that chrysanthemums were really special to my family as they were my Grandad's favourite flower, and she ensured that these played a key part in the overall design - which she amazingly kept secret until the day itself! It was just wonderful. Despite many delays due to the pandemic, Lucy was flexible and professional throughout and ensured our needs were met. Lucy at Flowers I Do recently did the flowers for our wedding at Insole Court and Thomas. From the moment I contacted her via email she was communicative, approachable and easy to talk to. She understood exactly what we wanted and every time I wanted to tweak or change things she did so quickly and without any fuss. She sent me vases she’d found online to help me choose, listened properly to all of my requests and then threw in an extra little treat for my wife’s hair for free which was a lovely touch. On the day of our wedding she not only came to three different venues to hand flowers over and set rooms up, she also offered on the day without bothering either of us at all, to return to the first venue and take things across to the second rather than my maid of honour doing this. It is touches like this that make you realise you definitely picked the right people to take care of your wedding day. My wife and I cannot recommend Lucy highly enough. She’s an absolute dream to work with but also a visionary without the edge, she’s kind and humble and quietly works to ensure everything she does is exactly right. I loved our wedding flowers! The colours were absolutely perfect, dusky blue and light pink - I didn't think this was achievable without looking like a baby shower but Lucy made the flowers PERFECT. Exactly the fairytale look we were going for. As soon as they arrived the bridesmaids were in their element, so excited that they would walk down the aisle holding such a beautiful bouquet! The absolute highlight was the metre long garland on the front of the top table and table during the ceremony. We sat behind it and it was only the next day when I saw a picture of the front that I realised how beautiful it was! We are so grateful for all of Lucy's expertise to create such wonderful bouquets, buttonholes, corsages and a garland. Thank you! :) xx

What can I say, my flowers were absolutely perfect. Lucy listened to my ideas and exceeded all my expectations. They were stunning, I had so many comments on the day about my flowers and they were just the perfect addition to the day. The colors matched our wedding theme perfectly and they complimented my dress. The first time we met was on the morning of my wedding (due to Covid) but on the lead up to the wedding Lucy kept me informed and turned up in ample time. She was so friendly and told me all about the different types of flowers and how I could hold the bouquet before she left. She made sure I was happy and her attention to detail was second to none. I can't thank Lucy enough for the beautiful bouquets and buttonholes she made for our wedding in July. As we live abroad and were away until the week before we got married, we had to arrange everything by email. Lucy understood exactly what I was looking for from just a few pictures - in fact they turned out even better than I had imagined! They were the prettiest flowers I had ever seen. We had so many compliments about them all day.

What wonderful flowers! Lucy was incredible. She spent so much time chatting to us about our day- our theme, dreams and ideas. She created a mood board for the day which was spot on and completely summarised what I had in my head. The flowers were beautiful and so much more than I could ever have hoped or dreamed. They were perfect for our day and totally in keeping with our beach theme. I could not recommend anyone more highly. She was fantastic. The flowers were perfect.

Lucy offers a very friendly and bespoke level of customer service, she is very warm and easy to talk to and has an excellent knowledge of flowers with a keen eye for details and trends.

We met Lucy for an initial consultation to see if we wanted her to be our florist, and we quickly decided it had to be her! She is incredibly organised and even came with flower books and colour cards to gain an understanding of what we liked. Additionally she asked us what we were like as a couple, how we envisaged the day and even what my dress was like so she would know all the intricate details. From this she was able to offer suggestions and show us photos of her portfolio which was really helpful. It was clear from the discussion that Lucy was very generous with her time in order to gain an understanding of what we wanted as well as being very passionate about her work.

On the day, Lucy and her Simon came to my cabin to present the flowers and show me how to care for them before the wedding, ensuring I knew how to dry them beforehand and we knew how to put on the button holes. She also set up the centrepieces and top table runner.

Everything was stunning, it was perfectly inline with how we envisaged the flowers to be and we received lots of compliments throughout the day.

As well as being an excellent florist, Lucy is an excellent communicator and always responded to queries quickly, and gave updates on her work so we could relax knowing it was in her very capable hands. This is just one of the reasons she was undoubtedly one of our favourite people to work with when organising our special day!

We knew that Lucy was the florist for us from the first time we met her for a consultation. Her enthusiasm for our initial ideas was infectious and she managed to translate our original vision into reality.
